SPF Checker

Check whether your SPF record is correct and stays within the limit of 10 DNS lookups.

Analysis messages from the checker are currently in Dutch.

How does it work?

SPF states which servers may send mail for your domain. More than 10 DNS lookups invalidates the record, which often goes unnoticed. We read the record, count the lookups and show warnings.

Frequently asked questions

What happens above 10 lookups?

Receivers treat SPF as an error (permerror) and your mail may go to spam or not arrive.

May I have multiple SPF records?

No, a domain must have exactly one SPF record. Merge senders into one record.

What is the difference between ~all and -all?

~all is softfail (suspicious but do not reject), -all is hardfail (reject). Use -all once you are sure all senders are listed.
