How does it work?
MX records decide which servers receive mail for a domain. A lower priority is tried first. Useful to check that a mail migration has been applied correctly.

What does priority mean?
The lowest number goes first. If that server is down, the sender tries the next.
How do I see if I use Microsoft 365?
Then the mail server ends in mail.protection.outlook.com.
How long does an MX change take?
Usually within an hour, at most as long as the TTL of the old record.
